Vacuum Blasting Machine

A Vacuum Blasting Machine, also called a Dustless Blasting Machine, is favorable. It catches all the dust using a vacuum pump so it’s better for the environment. We can do open blasting with the Vacuum Blasting Machine without worrying about dust messing things up. Recycling the abrasive media makes the machine even more effective. Because of that, we can use this machine in different industries and areas where blasting needs to be dust-free to protect the environment. The vacuum pump ensures dust stays contained so open blasting is possible without polluting the surrounding area. We appreciate how the recycling feature improves performance over time too. Whether you are working indoors or outdoors, this machine is a great option when minimizing dust is important.

This equipment includes castor wheels and lifting lugs so we can easily move it from one location to another. The reclaimer is used to filter out large particles and small dust from the abrasive medium. We installed a 10 HP vacuum pump along with a reverse pulse jet dust collector to recover abrasive media like steel grit, garnet sand, and aluminum oxide. There are two ways we can fill the media in this machine. First, we can pour the media directly into the hopper. Second, we can use a vacuum gun to draw in the media and shoot it into the reclaimer. In the reclaimer, the heavy particles fall into the hopper, efficiently loading the abrasive media. This machine gives incredibly powerful performance without damaging the environment. As a top Shot Blasting Machine Company, we offer the most cost-effective Vacuum Blasting Machine Prices in India to our clients.

Vacuum Blasting Machine Working

Here’s how a Vacuum Blasting Machine operates:-

  1. Pick the right material for the surface to be blasted first.
  2. Next, kick-start the vacuum pump and air compressor. Load the abrasive material into the hopper with a vacuum gun by hand.
  3. Open up the ball valve and butterfly valve. Turning on the butterfly valve creates suction in the gun. This grabs the abrasive media, which shoots out with the air through the sand blasting nozzle and gets blasting started.
  4. After blasting, the fallen media is sucked up by the recovery hose suction and goes into the reclaimer.
  5. The reclaimer sends weighty media to the hopper. Fine dust goes to the dust collector.
  6. The dust collector’s pressure tank has a solenoid valve and a timer. We set it to 30 or 60 seconds. This blows air into the collector every half minute. The dust stuck to the filter falls and gathers in a tray.

Manufacturing Process of Vacuum Blasting Machine

Vacuum blasting machines come in two main types: the first one is a vacuum suction blasting machine and the second is a vacuum pressure blasting machine. Let’s examine the design of a typical vacuum suction blasting machine. First, we built the platform’s foundation to be 5 mm thick, 4 inches wide, and 71 inches long. On top of that sits a 3 mm thick checked layer. At each corner of the platform where the wheels attach, we fitted 10 mm thick 150 mm by 150 mm plates. We construct virtually all of our Dustless Blasting Equipment from an extremely durable MS sheet metal.

We used a laser cut machine to cut the rectangular sheet metal (MS) and then a banding machine bent the cut components to form all of the structure’s parts. Next, the griding, polished, and painted parts were ready for assembly. An ARC welding process joined all of the prepared components together. Following that, we installed two center rods which held an electric motor and vacuum pump connected by a rubber belt. A dust collection cabinet was then suspended from two rectangular rods on the right side of the vacuum pump. Inside the dust collector we placed a Fabric Bag and Pleated Cartridge Filters.

Pleated filters are 90 to 95 percent effective at filtration. Near the dust collector, we installed a small pressure tank with a solenoid valve and sequential timer. This timer injects air into the tank at set intervals, forcing dust into the collection tray. Next, we constructed a sandblasting hopper and reclaimer. The hopper attaches to the bottom of the reclaimer unit. After assembling all platform components, an airline from the compressor connects via a blue polyurethane tube. Air links in two areas: first, in the pressure tank by the dust collector. Second, near the hopper where a ball valve is mounted, regulating airflow.

We connect PU tubes to the vacuum gun with an FR and a Butterfly valve. A metal pipe joins the vacuum pump to where we collect dust. A flexible hose ties the dust collector and reclaimer together. This hose is also fixed to the reclaimer in the vacuum gun. The vacuum gun has spots for three connections: one for the sand blasting hose, an air input from the PU tube, and a recovery line. With all three spots connected, we put a nylon brush under the gun. This keeps the harsh material from shooting out.

At our company, we have more than just a dustless blasting machine. We are proud to have safety kits and blasting helmets as well. As a top-rated manufacturer of sand blasting machines, we also offer dustless blasting machines for sale. Not just that, we also produce high-quality, robust blasting machines. Our range includes machines for sand blasting, grit blasting, and suction blasting cabinet. Then, there are cabinets for pressure blasting too!

Applications of Dustless Blasting Machine

The applications of a Dustless Blasting Machine or Vacuum Blasting Machine span across various industries, owing to its versatility and environmentally conscious design. Here are some key applications:

  • Used in the oil and gas sector, where maintaining a dust-free environment is essential, to clean equipment.
  • Perfect for removing old paint, rust, and coatings off automobile exteriors without harming the underlying substance.
  • Useful for maintaining the original body when removing paint layers from old cars.
  • Helpful in construction projects for cleaning and preparing brick and concrete surfaces before painting.
  • Makes restoration work easier by carefully cleaning historic structures’ layers of paint or contaminates.
  • Maintains the structural integrity of infrastructure by cleaning and restoring elements like overpasses and bridges.
  • Appropriate for aerospace applications, guaranteeing accuracy in surface treatment of aircraft components.
  • Eliminates rust and coatings from train cars and tracks in order to clean and preserve railway components.
